THE PE'A FAMILY: Playgrounds, the zoo, and rides

This is our last week of summer in Calgary and boy was it so much fun! El came up for this week and it was so incredible! We went to tons of playgrounds, the Calgary zoo, which the boys and Natalie got such a kick out of. We then went out with a bang and went to Calaway Park for our last day in Calgary. It was so amazing! We went with Jen and Natalie and Ross's family. Hanging out with Jen and Ross was like a very cool flashback to the good ole YSA days in Calgary Brentwood Ward lol

Saturday 9th
Today we took the kids to the downtown park in Calgary. The one El and I took Natalie to last year and it was really fun. Natalie met a little girl her age and were playing princess and monsters the whole time inbetween swing and slide breaks.

Sunday 10th
Today we were waiting for El to get here but he had issues with US Airways, they wouldn't let him get on the plane when then failed to call his name after making him wait 3 hours for a delayed flight! The plane was still connected to the ramp yet they refused to let him on even though every other airline company lets people on in those situations. Word to the wise NEVER and I mean NEVER take US Airways! They are almost bankrupt which is wonderful and they are rated the #! worst airline company in North America! Thats explained a lot! Monday 11th
Today is the day that El comes, but not until 2 or so, so we took the kids to Brentwood community playground to play in the morning. My mom has nerve pain and took her pain medication that day. Bad idea because it made her feel so drowsy she almost fell over like 3 times at the playground. haha

Tuesday 12th
today is the Zoo day! What a wonderful day it was

Wednesday 13th
Today was another fun park day with dad and the boys

Just prior to having a huge water fight with Natalie chasing me and my mom around the yard the hose! Would do it again in a heartbeat though. So much fun!

Found Natalie in the living room attempting to put on sunscreen herself. Too cute!

Thursday 14th
Calaway Park. The boys were almost a bit too young to really enjoy themselves. Instead of having a great time they spent most of it crying when ever the rides ended and they had to get off. Maybe next year they will understand a bit more lol Natalie had the time of her life though!!!! She was the absolute perfect age! She had so much fun with Heidi, Ross and Natalie's little girl. She just turned 5 I believe so she is about 2 years older than Natalie. It was such a wonderful day. El and I were also able to get away for about 20 minutes and go on a ride together (twice) which was so much fun!!! We never get to do that kind of thing so it was really cool.
