October week 4 weekly roundup

Such a fun week getting ready for Halloween only a couple days away now!  We tried to fit in as many more halloween events in these last days.  We hit up a pumpkin patch, took walks to see decorations (during the day of course haha), went to a couple ward parties and a library halloween carnival!

Taking a walk with the boys while Natalie was at dance

Its just the cutest little dance group! And her teacher Miss Courtney says she is doing so good!  Awesome!

Yummy snack!  Felt in the mood for caprese!  Love this dish!

The halloween party at dance.  Heni was supposed to come but Ray couldn't get her there in time.  She was pretty upset, but by the end of the class, she had had such a fun time dancing to thriller!  haha How fun that must have been.

Our visit to the pumpkin patch

They added a hay castle that the kids could climb up with a little tunnel and everything!  They loved this one!

And a corn pit!

Ben was so enthralled with the ghosts and pumpkins hanging on the tunnel!

Natalie in particular loved the corn pit

Carving our pumpkins.  Ignore the face, they had a load of fun carving.  Natalie was a bit upset that she couldn't do the actual cutting with the knife, so I had her hold my hand while I did the cutting and then I let her cut up the pieces with a butter knife.  It seemed to calm the storm

Princess dress up day, cause you never ever have enough of those!

My new turtle painting I finally got started that I have been meaning to do forever!  Just have to find a frame for it that I like that isn't $$$

The Library halloween carnival was pretty good again.  It was colder this year so a lot of it was inside and the parts that were outside were so cold we could't stay as long as we usually do.   I also forgot to bring her pumpkin candy bucket!  But we ended up finding a bag at one of the booths so its was okay.

The balloon room ( one of the favourties)

The fireman's tunnel tube teddy bear rescue

Rays ward halloween party. It was fun but I think I wish there were more games and it was more interactive.  It was a bit underwellming actually.  But we still got to see family I suppose and we got some good family costume pictures

playing with Natalies fireman hat she got from the library earlier that day

Our wards halloween party.....and of course it ROCKED!!!!

True carnival style they even had tickets!

Natalie got some elsa snowflakes painted on her face

I loved Els costume this year!  So did everyone else!

Trick or treating in the avenues. I think this will be our last time doing this in the Aves though.  There is not a lot of people participating.  There are few big homes that really go all out, but thats about it.  Like a row of 4-5 houses, then its pretty sad.  I did hear that Sugar house is amazing, so I think thats were well head, or Bountiful next year.  But we still had a lot of fun and Natalie loved it which is the most important part!

One of the homes that goes all out

And of course the loot!!
