July week 3 weekly roundup

This week has been really fun.  We have had no sick kids or adults really so that has been great! We took Laddy to the doctors for his nose, and he gave us some antibiotic ointment (that he hated!)  and some nasal spray.  The doctor said it could anywhere from 5-10 days for us to see some improvement.  2 days later his nose was considerably better!  I felt very blessed!  We have finally made it to Seven peeks, 2 weeks after we got the passes, sheesh!  the kiddie pool is amazing there, better than any other kiddie pool ever!  But its not surprising.  The kids also really like the wave pool, as do we!  El's favourite is of course the jumping rock, which brings him back to the island cliff jumping.  Its a huge plus that water is freezing cold in that pool, so he is super happy! We've had amazing weather, our cool spell is over and no more rainstorms.  I did make the mistake of forgetting to send my library book receipts to my email, so I have racked up a whopping $92 in fines. How does one person even do that!???  Well we will be reading down those fines for the next year!  Sheesh, its a good thing Natalie likes going to Preschool story time. We got to hang out and see Sadie and Jon, which was awesome cause I feel like I haven't seen her in forever and she is one of my very very best friends!  I lover her so much!  Trevor, Jens finance made it across the border into Canada, so that is also good news for her.  I have decided to switch her bachelorette party theme over from burlesque to Luau! I am super excited.  She loves Hawaii almost as much as I do ;) so I think it will the ultimate party, plus being married to a Samoan, gives me a lot of resources on my end!  We were asked to preform in the ward talent show next week, so we have decided to have El sing and play the Ukulele and for his mom to teach and help Nells do a hula.  I am pretty excited to see how that turns out.  Just a really good week so far!  Also need to mention, this is the first week we made if through all of sacrament!  For everyone who knows us, you all know how big of a deal this is for us!  We usually have to leave immediately following the passing of the sacrament, due to banshee like screaming.  This Sunday however, El stayed int he chapel with Natalie and I walked around with the boys.  We looked at pass along cards and very enthusiastically pointed out "Jesa" (Jesus) and they were so great!  Such a huge moment!  I have no idea if it will happen next week, but I am crossing my fingers it will!

Ben passed out on the couch after a very long and tiring but so amazing family reunion

my new purchase for the kids!  An easel.  Natalie has been asking for one for a long time, so I thought it was time.  She was so excited about it.

Getting her grey tooth looked at.  Good news, is that it is just grey.  No infections and no root canal in her future!  Also another cavity free visit! So mom, Nells was playing wither her brothers and fell and bumbed her tooth on the coffee table. She said it hurt and we checked if it was loose but it was fine, so we didn't think much about it.  Until a couple of days later, El says to me, why is her tooth grey?  I was like huh?  come again?  So we took her in and it is a fairly common thing to happen to little ones.

Another smoothie bowl made today.  I am feeling so healthy on my raw unti 4 diet. I have so much more energy than I ever had before.  I am 2 weeks strong into it and no sighs of wanting to quit in the future!  I am loving this lifestyle change for me!  Plus I get to have all the smoothies I can have and I LOVE smoothies!

Pirates day at preschool reading time at the library.  Super excite about waiting in line to walk the plank

a green spinach and coconut smoothie bowl for breakfast!  Its was so good! It also had guava in it.

eating home made raspberry nice cream for movie night.

a new smoothie I made I think will be a favourite!  pineapple, mango, papaya, banana and passion fruit. The passionfruit really kicks it up a notch or 2 or 20!  Its the not as vibrant and pretty as a dragon fruit smoothie, but man it was so good!

Natalie telling us all about her day in sunbeams and what she learned. El asked her what she learned in primary and she replies, hold on daddy I'm going to tell you. She ran and got her microphone and set up a stage and proceeded to tell us on her show. I guess in all the excitement, she forgot to put on clothes.  I guess at 4 thats perfectly OK!
