May Weekly round up 4

This week has been a really great week to say the least despite the terrible weather!   So we have been able to take the kids out almost everyday, which is a change from what I feel like the last 2 weeks have been.  We decided that even when it was rainy, it will not daunt us!  We packing the kids up in the car and just went for a drive somewhere, and all parties were happy!

This week starting out with a long weekend.  Memorial Day!  We hadn't initially planned to do anything, but about 2 days before Rachel called us and had us get together for a family picnic at the cemetery to visit Ben. Couldn't have been a more fitting memorial day!  Then, Ray and I got together and tried out the new workout HIIT.  Hight intensity interval training.  Man it sounds so much easier than it actually is.  But we killed it!  Yay us! We then proceeded to have ourselves a much needed and well deserved mommy sister day.  We made green smoothies, 'nice cream' which is really frozen bananas with a bit of milk.  We added a touch of vanilla and some peanut butter.  It had the consistency of soft serve and the taste of banana gelato.  Amazing!  And you can eat 2 bowls without feeling guilty!  We then dyed Rays hair and just hung out and visited and talked about all kinds of good things for the soul.  Natalie and Heni had a super huge long play day and El and the boys had a boys day.  Great start to the week!

The new twisted braid I decided to try.  Great way to keep those layered pieces in a french braid style.

I know I look so weird.  What am I doing with my legs?  Well let me tell you, I am bending down so Ray could be in the picture lol  yup took one for the team haha

Tuesday, was a fun day as well.  It was really rainy and not very appealing to be outside, but we were able to get out with the kids for a bit or a car drive.  Later that day, was much better and I was able to get Natalie out to the library finally!  We took our last batch of books back over 2 weeks ago and just haven't been able to get out.  Its been sad nights with no books lately.  But now that we have a whole new stash of them, we are good to go.  Natalie loves going to the library so much!  She loves picking out books, and playing on the computer and pretending to wrote down stuff on the little papers by the computer.  I just love taking her so much!

Later that night, Cecil came over.  This is Lee's and Stephanie's little baby boy.  They have a weeding to go to in Mexico (lucky!!)  and so we are watching their baby for a couple days while they are gone.  He is only 10 weeks old I think and so tiny.  He literally sleeps all the time, which I guess is what 10 month old babies do.  It makes me so sad seeing him next my big babies, because they don't look much like babies anymore.  Tear!  Natalie loves him!  She loves being around him and playing with him.  She has also been lucky and got to go over to grandmas house for a sleep over!  He did great that night.

Wednesday was a good day too.  I woke up early with the kids and played dinosaurs with the boys and Cecil laid there being cute as a button.  We had a bit of a lazy morning being that it rained again!  But we did end up heading over to grandmas house in the afternoon for a bit when the sun came out.  We even got to eat freezies!  We came back and Natalie stayed, again haha.  It was a fun night just hanging and playing with the boys.  When did they start full blown talking again?  Geez!

Firday night Sadie and I went to see San Andreas.  Such a great movie!  Its apparently Americas # 1 movie right now so yay!  And the Rock was so amazing!

Saturday we took the kids to a the splash pad in Foxborrow and then out to get shaved ice!  We also decided we wanted to look into maybe moving into the apartment complexes in foxborrow.  They are a bit more expensive, but there are so many parks including the splash pad nearby.  Also it is in a very safe neighborhood, and we have been more and more breakins in our area.  Its starting to get a little unnerving. I then went out for  girls night with Tash and Nat.
