A big portion of today was spend visiting teaching with Ashleigh. We headed over to Erin's house this morning at 10 to have another playdate/visiting teaching meeting. It was so nice to visit with her again and get out of the house. We rushed back because the fridge was ordered, but I didn't know if it was going to be delivered today, and I did not want to miss it. About an hour into being at home and about 45 minutes to nap, I got a text saying it would be delivered tomorrow before 2! grrrrrr. we could have have gone to a park today. It was so beautiful, but it was okay. Natalie had a nap strike and and so we had a picnic and ate cheetos while she did my hair. It was great! We then took the kids outside to play on their cars and trikes when El got home before I met up with Ashleigh again to visit teach Betty. Good spiritual day! I need those sometimes. The lesson was about obedience and the blessings we can get from obedience. It was a great lesson and it really made me reflect on how I am obedient and how that can benefit and bless me as a mother and in turn bless my children. I know when I am more obedient, the Lord blesses me with more patients and understanding towards my kids. It was a great message and I am grateful that I got to be the one to teach it this month.
Woooo!! The Pe'a tricycle clan!
Monday 26th
Today I thought maybe our new fridge was going to come so I spend the morning cleaning up the kitchen. I pulled out the oven and cleaned behind it! Good thing I did because it was so disgusting! Ugh! But its super clean now which makes me feel better. I also cleaned behind on of our portable counter tops. I didn't even realize it moved until I accidentally pulled on it too hard and the whole thing came away from the wall like a foot! I thought hey! Opportunity to clean behind it too. Well the fridge did not come today, but at least it is in ordered. Our new land lords are wonderful and have done more with this place in the last two weeks than the previous joke of a landlord did in 2 years! What a blessing!
drawing while I folded the laundry and cleaned the kitchen.
Natalie also built a fort under this table and pretended she was camping and was begin chased by a big scary bear, and then the big scary bare turned nice and she was hugging the bear and he as then her best friend. She narrated the whole thing for me! I just fell in love with her all over again!
outside with me palying on her trike while I was spray painting our hardware black. I hate gold hardware and I finally bought black spray paint, so I got right to it!
When the boys woke up, we then headed over to Ashleighs house to have a playdate/visit teach Julia. It was awesome and kids had so much fun!
Sunday 25th
The kids were all sleepy this morning and cranky and two of them had fevers. Seriously this is the worst cold and flu season for our family as of yet! So we opted to stay home to 1. give the kids the rest they need and 2. not to be one of those parents who bring their sick kids to church and get all the other kids sick too! I hate those parents, so I am not about to be one of them! No thanks dude! So we took it easy, let the kids sleep till 12!!! Yay 12 right! All of them! Yikes, seriously the obviously needed sleep. Made me feel better about our decision regarding church as well. I did some laundry, we took the kids out to play, Tash came over and we then took the kids out again to Memory Grove to run around while El went out and got Pie Pizza for our Sunday dinner. It was our special treat from the money he got from Vivienna's concert back in December.
Freedom!!!!!!!! Wooooohooooo!
I sweat this structure was as good as a playground today! They spend 15 minutes just running around it and climbing up and down and around.
My precious little boys posing and smiling for the camera! There newest favourite thing to do.
The perfect little family picture! I love it!
Saturday 24th
Today Natalie's ballet was canceled since Miss Courtney has strep throat. Ugh not fun and we are all hoping that she will get better and is not in to much pain! But it was nice. We spent the day as a family having fun. We took the kids outside to play by the house which was awesome and the kids just loved it! I also started another little wall project for the kids bedroom. I found this awesome quote for Albert Einstein on pinterest. "If you want your kids to be intelligent, read them fairytales" How can you not love this quote! So I came up with a little design, drew it out and next thing you know, I have a new wall art for the kids room
yeah for Saturday mornings!
Ben had such a busy day that he passed out on the floor at about 7! He only napped for about 45 minutes but still, it was just too cute to not capture it!
almost finished. Now to just paint my old frame yellow!
I love it and I think its such a great quote to know and have readily available!
Friday 23rd
Today I actually didn't capture any pictures. Not sure why but pretty upset with my self that I didn't think to have my phone with me to snap some fun pics of the kids. But today was spent just inside again since it was pretty cool outside. We met up with Lyman and Lissy for a double date while Tash babysat the kids. Lissy and I then headed out Salsa dancing after which was really fun.
Thursday 22nd
We hung out inside again since it was a bit chilly out today and Natalie seemed a bit sick. I didn't want to take her out and make her even worse. So it was a pretty chill day just watching some Cailou, BBC dinosaur documentaries and having more dance parties :) The only picture I actually captured today sadly was the finished product of Natalie's dress up chest. Later that day we had a really awesome enrichment activity at our ward. Aria's mom who is a yoga instructor came and did a free yoga class for us. It was my first one, but since I have been interested in starting up, it was a great introduction and made me only that much more passionate about doing yoga in my life. I really need to shed the rest of this baby weight (thats my excuse for it, even though I think its just my lazy eating and exercising habits)
