St. Patricks week (14th - 20th)

This past week from the 14th -20th has been an odd week for weather.  It has not been able to make up its mind.  We have had some wonderful warm spring days and some other cold spring days.  We've spent the last half of the week inside cause its just very cold.  St. Patricks day was so windy that when I took the kids for a stroller ride, the 5 of us almost blew away, literally.  I had to put the breaks on the stroller and literally brace myself on it so it wouldn't tip into bust State Street!  It was a short walk and we spent the rest of the day inside. Really crazy wind storm! It was been a fun week though.  Friday was the last day of spring break and then just getting back into the groove of things with school and normal days again.

Friday we spent a lot of the day over at grandmas house playing outside cause it was such a beautiful warm day out.  We played on the trampoline and the swings and Natalie had so much fun climbing the tree that Daddy used to climb.

Saturday was fun, it was a bit cold but still a nice day.  I took the kids out for a walk in Memory Grove and then we came home and played outside a bit in the front.  It was a bit chilly…it was starting to get chilly this day. That night I attempted to make Swedish perogies with chicken and vegetables and potato.

Sunday was a good day.  Church as usual.  Natalie had a ton of fun in Nursery and the boys did remarkably well in church this week.  I can't believe they only have two more weeks until they can go into nursery.  It makes me a bit sad!  They are growing up WAY too fast!!!  Tash came over after at about 3 and we went out to Sugar house park and let the kids play on the playground.  They loved it!  It was such a beautify day that day as well!

Monday St. Patricks Day was such a windy and cold day!  It was freezing out and we had a huge wind storm.  I almost blew away with the kids in the stroller trying to take them for a walk and get some fresh air.  We were walking along state street and I had to put the strollers breaks on three times and brace myself against the stroller so it wouldn't tip and blow over onto state street.  It was very scary.  We went  right home after about 7 minutes lol.  Scariest stroller ride ever!  We staying in for the rest of the day.  Grandma and grandpa came over later and hung out after nap and then Natalie got to spend the night with them.  They are leaving of Samoa on Wednesday so they wanted to spend a night with her before they left.  I love how much they love her! That morning I put green dye in her cereal milk so she could have leprechaun cereal on St. Patricks Day.  She loved it and now every morning asks for cereal to be green.  I giver her her cereal and she say "mommy reen" :)

her green leprechaun cereal

brought the tend out to play inside cause it was so stinking cold outside!

But I tried to dress the kids all in green that day.

Little Nells took her nap in her tent again.  I love when she does it its so cute!

Tuesday we had fun with grandma again and went to McDonalds for lunch and I was able to pick up some summer and spring clothes from grandmas house that I stored there over the winter.

Wednesday we had fun inside again cause it was pretty cold out.  We just lounged around and watched tangled and then a bunch of the high school musical shows because Natalie wanted to watch show that had her 'happy lala' :)

having fun running around while watching Bo on the Go and while I was making dinner.

Thursday was such an incredibly beautiful day! It was so warm and sunny out.  We got a really late start today but made it up by making an awesome lunch.  A new pinterest recipe.  Ham and cheese buns made with the crescent rolls.  So good I made another batch for dinner tonight.  Natalie loved them!  They are so easy to eat and yummy that they are the perfect hot sandwich for toddlers.  We played outside a bit while the boys took a must needed nap and then after nap we all went down with daddy to the Castle Park.
