January Weekly roundup 2

January 12th

First day for El and the U!!!! We are officially a Utes Family!  Woot woot!!  I spend the day doing some laundry and upcycling our disgusting, old and dirty computer chair.  I just hating that thing, but with a new coat of paint, removal of the yucky upholstery, it is actually wonderful and bright and looks good as new now.  Yay for DIY!

So the boys and Natalie's favourite show to watch is Dinosaur documentaries because they can watch "real" dinosaurs.  So we watch BBC's walking with the dinosaurs, Dino king and Dinotasia.  I believe they are watching Dino King here.  All snuggled together.  I just love it.  Makes my heart melt

January 10th 

More McDonalds fun and play centers.  Its just the perfect place to take the kids to play around and get out some energy without going outside in the wet weather.  Its warm but the snow is all melting this week so everything is just drenched and not so much fun to play in.  Plus little chicken nuggets are so cheap and we had some extra money for Christmas so we thought we would have some fun this week.  Don't worry mom, El and I didn't spend much money :) 

January 9th

McDonalds fun, Laddy's black eye and Latin dancing for me!

Trip to Farmington playground since the castle park was covered in snow still.  Lots of fun!  Then fun lunch after!

First post of the new year: Weekly roundup 1

I can not believe its the 2015!  This past year has been amazing and incredible in pretty much every way, and I am looking forward to this new year. This year brings to end some things that make me super sad like the end of Natalie being 3 which I am so bitter sweet about, the end of the boys being babies, the end of El's journey at Salt Lake Community College.  But it also starts some new and amazing chapters!  Its the start of Els next 2 years at the University of Utah.  The boys are now toddlers officially and are talking and almost making sentences.  Natalie and the boys are getting cuter and cuter every single day.  I just feel so blessed and grateful for 1. to have such amazing children and 2. to be able to stay at home with them! (Thank you mom and dad!)

Jan 1-6

January 6th.  Errands kind of day.  Car wash, Costco, walmart and then a night drive to get a movie and some candy for the kids.  You can see their faces how excited they are about getting candy!

Monthly update

So I have been really slacking on the monthly updates so I will do one now.

Natalie:

She is about 40" tall and weighs around 35 pounds.  She is just a little talker and is getting really good at singing some of her favourite songs!  She loves to sing "tinkle tinkle tar" and her ABC's

Guava juice is 'gaba gaba juice"
sunscreen is 'tunspleen'
doing is 'dooning'
stroller is 'sploller'
going is 'goning'
together is 'toogeta'
tree is 'plee'

excuse me is 'ciuse me' and she is doing so great at saying that in the car when she wants to talk to me or El.  Its crazy cute!
She loves to sing everything and into anything like spatulas!  She loves to put pandora on and have dance parties and dance around with her brothers.
She is getting better at coloring and can color more in the lines now and can draw little picturs of people and circles.  The arms come right of the head where the ears should be and the arms come out of the neck haha.  No body, just a head with leggs.
She likes to sit with her books and pretend to read the words.
She love to draw and make pictures and then likes to fold them up and give them to you as presents.
Natalie will often come to me and give me a hug and cuddles and say I love you mommy. Melts my heart!

The boys:
Laddy love to say "mom watch" and have me watch him do just about anything that his sister is doing.  Both the boys love to copy and mimic Natalie.
They can say Watch, mom, dad, come, see, pop, dink (drink), dinor (dinasour), peese (please) and Ben will say 'tankoo' (thank you)
When they want something they say "mom come" and do this cute little hand gesture and often grab your hand and pull you to where they want you to come.
They love to play with their guns and shoot things. They love to roar and stomp around like little dinosaurs and absolutely love anything dinosaurs and love to watch dinosaur documentaries with real life looking dinos.  They love books about dinosaurs and movies about dinosaurs including the new Godzilla movie.  They are really becoming little boys and its just so darn cute!  They are doing really great at eating at the table and just love to play with eachother.  They love to kiss now.  They will often come up and just give you kisses for new reason.  Melts my heart so incredibly much!  They love to play with their new guns for christmas and all three kids are completely and utterly obsessed with flashlights of any kind!  And Candy!!!  Oh they all LOVE candy!!!!
