This week was a bit better with pool and sunny days. We did still spend some days inside just relaxing. this week Laddy took up sick with tummy aches and diarrhea and then we took him to the hospital because we had an appendix scare. But it turns out the diarrhea was actually a response to moderate to severe constipation, which was also the cause of all of his tummy aches! But to no avail to being sick free, Ben caught a nasty bout of the flu and is still sick! He has been throwing up, bit of a fever, and just terrible amounts of diarrhea that will not let up! We are actually going to call it in tomorrow to his doctor and see if there is something we can do, at least about the nausea and the tiredness. I hope everything is okay with him and that it all ends this week before we make the dreadful 14 hour drive to Calgary! Ugh!!! I am not looking forward to that one bit!

Since Laddy was at home not feeling so hot, I took Natalie and Ben over to grandmas to play outside. They sat here eating their ice creams waiting for papa to come home

Yup this happened! I finally turned their cribs into toddler beds! Then when I decided I still needed more room........
......I took apart both cribs and created this! A toddler size loft pull out bed, made from two ikea cribs! I literally had El's power drill out and was making new holes, measuring and being super crafty and thrifty! I had so much fun and I was so happy with the results!
They work great!!!

Finally some pool time, even though both Ben and Laddy were a bit under the weather. Ben was feeling nauseous and laddy was having his constipation pains. But it was still a blast!
Rainy is so sadly moving away and so we had a fairwell dinner for her with these lovely ladies! Such great company and so much fun chit chatting
A Sunday Luau for one of Nats friends family reunion. She taught them how to dance a couple different dances and El played the guitar and sang beautifully as usual!
