It was fun.  This was Natalies first Easter.  No easter egg hunt this year since she was too little, but definitely next year.

Our Logan Trip

So we are planning on moving to Logan so El can go to Utah state university.  I can not tell you how excited I am to move.  I love moving to new places and Logan is gonna be so much fun! I finally get my own kitchen and our own place with our own space.  It will be so great!  Not that living with the in-laws isn't good.  El's parents are definitely the best in-laws to live with.  They really do give us our own space and and they always offer to watch the Natalie when we ask.  It is great!  It will just be really nice to have our own place and be on our own.

So, we took a trip to Logan with El's cousin Daniel and his family to check out the university and campus and possibly the town house we will be living in if we can get it.  It is  on-campus housing, and small but really cute.  And it looks really nice in person too.


The Logan temple is so beautiful!  It looks like a castle and I love how the outside is made of brick instead of being all white.  It is gorgeous.  I am really excited that this will be our new temple.  Its great to move to another city where we will have a temple so close to us!  What a
great blessing!

Natalie's Baby Blessing







This was a really exciting week for us.  Natalie was super sick this week with her first ever cold.  That really sucked for Natalie.  She was so uncomfortable and we felt so bad for her and helpless since there was nothing we could really do for.  We finally know why parents say its the worst to have a sick child. it really is.  As a parent I have never felt so helpless.  We did end up buying a humidifier for our bedroom to help her breath.  Our room now feels like a cigar room or like the Amazon Jungle haha.  But it works wonders for Natalie!

This is also a really exciting week because this is Natalie's baby blessing.   A really exciting time for our family, especially for Eldon.  He has been in tons of baby blessings before, but this is the first time he has had the opportunity to bless his own daughter.  It was a very tender blessing!  Definitely from the heart.  We were both really emotional that day.  What a wonderful day, and great testimonies that day as well.  Eldon's cousin Daniel and his family were able to come down for the blessing which was really nice.  We were able to see baby Carter and little Elise (who is getting so big)  Both El and I can't believe that she is only 2!  Daniel and his family are actually the ones we are going to be living by when we move to Logan next year.  We are so excited for that. Great family!!!

First week of April and Conference

This is becoming a really fun month!  Natalie is doing great with her reflux and is such a great baby.
She had her first conference this month and her Aunty Jen came down to visit and couldn't believe how big she is getting. She is starting to giggle too. She giggled for the first time this month and I was the only one who didn't hear it.  She giggled for her daddy and giggled for her Aunty Nat but not for mommy.  She is holding out on me.  She is beginning to focus on things and people and when she sees you she'll smile now.  It is so much fun!  She is really not a newborn anymore, but a baby. Her face is also starting to form into Her face, rather than the little generic newborn face all babies have.

Her first conference with Aunty Jen. She really couldn't believe how big she was.  She thought she is really filling out.  We agree.

So we finally caught her first smile on camera.  Actually her Aunty Tash captured it on her cell phone and then sent it to us. How CUTE!!!

This month was a great month!  Natalie has really grown this month.  She is now 23 inches long and about 13 pounds now.  She keeps growing so fast!!!!  She is finally sleeping so much better at night.  She wakes up only twice and goes right back to sleep, its great!!!  She is staying awake much longer during her days as well.  SHe is a great little baby with a wonderful temperament.   However, during this month little Natalie got reflux.  She has been pretty fussy for the past 3 weeks, but we didn't know why, and now we do.  She is on Zantac, and it works wonders!  She is back to her little old self again.  

She finally fits into some of her cute little clothes that are 0-3 months and not the little newborn stuff.  She is starting to smile more now (not just gas) and making some funny faces.  However, we haven't caught her smiling on camera yet.  Here are some of the pictures we got her of her this month.  She is just as cute as ever, and getting cuter!

February

February pictures of Natalie

These are some pictures we took during the month of February of Natalie.  She is not too active yet, but she is super cute still!  This was a hard month!  She had her nights and days all mixed up and I think I averaged like 3 hours of sleep a night.  It was really hard.  But it was worth it.  She slept all through the day and decided that she wanted to be awake ALL night long!  She had a lot of firsts this month.  She had her first smile the first day she was born (probably gas lol) and she had her first diaper change and first nap, first time in her room and her bed.  She also had her first time sucking on her thumb!! I couldn't believe AND we were able to catch it on camera! It was a very busy month full of new things for both natalie and Eldon and I.

Her grandpa put her in her crib for the first time and she took a nap!  She looks so tinny in it.  She hasn't spent any nights in it yet, still sleeping in her basinet in our bedroom.

She is now 2 weeks old and supper cute!  Lyman who is amazing by the way offered to do a mini photo shoot with her and it turned out really great.  I love his pictures!  He is really talented.  Definitely someone you would want to go to if you need photos done for weddings, events, kids.  He really can do it all and he is so great and professional to work with.   Thanks Uncle Lyman!  We love you :)  Here is what he did.  She was really great for this.

We had her in her crib for this one and she was falling asleep.  She started to fall over and it worked out perfectly that she fell right into one of her stuffed animals.  It looks like she is cuddling up to it.  I love it. This is one of my favourites that he took! 

This one is my FAVOURITE!  Lyman placed her so she was lying among her stuffed animals and her pillow.  She fell right asleep for about a minute and then woke up and was not happy, and the photo shoot was done haha. 

1st Photo Shoot

This was her very first photo shoot.  She was about 2 days old at this time and it was in the hospital.  It was hard to keep her awake for these, and in most of the pictures she is sound asleep.  We love her so much!!!! I unfortunately didn't have her in a very cute outfit.  Being the first baby we didn't know we could put her in our own outfits rather than the ugly hospital outfits, but she still looks beautiful!   We lover her so much!!!!
