Autumn walk, U orientation and pizza night with the family

Today I attempted to take the kids out for a walk.  We got to temple square and got too cold, so we headed back.  We made hot soup and hot cocoa, which seemed so perfect.  We then got the news that El had finished his orientation at the U and had his first meeting with an academic advisor.  We were finally able to officially enroll him in classes.  His spring semester is all set to go!  We are stoked!  El can not wait to get to the U!  I ran an errand for Medicaid and then we hung out at home, had pizza night and lots of great family time!

Ballet, family photos and christmas crafts at Sadie and Jon's

Today was beyond busy and action packed!  But I love days like this.  We got up early and went to ballet. Natalie did so good and participated more than she ever has!  Made me so happy and so proud.  We rushed home to get ready to head to El's Parents house for the family photos.  Els mom and Natalie did so much to help us it was really amazing!  Nat came over early to do my hair and make up and ended up giving me a full tutorial lesson as well.  I loved it!  Thank you Nat!!  Lyman then came over and we took the photos, even though they were a bit fussy they looked so cute in their Samoan outfits.  I am so excited to see how the pictures turn out!  After that, we headed right to Sadie and Jons house, ordered pizza while we there and did christmas crafts till like 2 in the morning. The kids had so much running around and watching Disney movies and Sadie and I had so much fun!  The boys were upstairs all night playing video games.  Such a wonderful night!  I just I took more pictures today.  I will post the family pictures when we get them.

Costco trip and getting ready for family photos

We took an ikea trip partly because we needed meat, and partly because we needed to get out of the house. It was nice and fun.  I then headed over to El's parents place to meet Nat to find the Samoan outfits for the kids to wear for our photos tomorrow. So excited!!

Its still so cold out.   We had warm beautiful weather when we left for Hawaii, and when we came home it literally decided to be winter! We have been spending so much time inside we are just aching for warmer weather to go play in

painting and walmart trip

Today we stayed in since it was so cold outside.  We played with toys and took every single one out I think and painted and took more toys out again.  We then waited till El got home and ran to walmart for some errands, and then got a little ice cream treat while we there.  It was so much fun!
