The moments I love!

Daddy and Natalie taking a nap

And cuddling.  This makes my heart smile!

Natalie was having a rough day and as soon as daddy came home from work he picked her up she fell right asleep on him and he fell asleep soon after.  These are such cute daddy daughter moments!

How cute!

Like daddy like daughter

Natalie loves to put on daddies glasses.

Wearing his glasses.  She is such a cutie!

Fall is Here!

We drove up to Brigham City with Daddy and Grandma Lowen to buy some of their peaches, and may I say they were the sweetest and best peaches I think I have ever had!  So juicy!  We bought like 20! haha.  It was a beautiful drive since fall is near in and the leaves are all starting to change.  Natalie had some fun with the pumpkins as well.   It was a really fun day!

The first place we went to.  This place was fun.  They had so much amazing fresh produce!
The huge line of pumpkins....which reminds me that I still need to buy my pumpkins!

Natalie deciding what she thinks about pumpkins.

Going in to investigate lol

Off to the market with daddy hand in hand.

Huge squash, but it looks so delicious!

Their massive selection of mini pumpkins.  Gotta to pick some of these up to try my new pumpkin stew recipe.

The bluest Plums ever!

wonderful looking pears.

More beautiful colored fruit.

And their peaches!  The main attraction!

Natalie playing with the little pebbles in on the ground

mommy!....look at my rock!

At our second stop daddy decided to buy Natalie a little treat!  Lucky girl!

Which one to pick?.....

Found one!  Say cheese!

The big truck the just pulled in to drop off more peaches.

Unloading the peaches of the truck bed.  There were so many!

These were the best peaches I have EVER tasted in my life!   WOW!!!

Just went to my favorite wood project site and picked up some new projects for the fall.  Don't know how I am going to get them done, considering I still have to redo all the nursery decor since the twins will be moving in with Natalie and El is not keen on them living in a pink ballerina room, and I have to still put up all our photos in our new apartment.  But I have been so bored while one bed rest, it will be nice to be busy  with projects once these boys come!

18 month check-up and 33 weeks!

Natalie had her 18 month check up today with her new doctor.  Found a great pediatrician office,  Grow up Great Pediatrics in Bountiful.  It was a great experience.  I had the best doctor and office in Logan at Treehouse, and I was skeptical as to whether I would find a good doctor here, but I definitely found one.  The office is Dr. Seuss themed and bright and cheerful.  The nurses are wonderful and really know how to treat the little toddlers that come in.  The rooms are full of colors and toys and fun animal and character decals on the walls.  It was great.

She went to get weighed and insisted on bringing her baby (my moms old doll Cathy)  and the nurse weighed her baby first and then Natalie.  It was so great.  She is a healthy 18 month year old.  She is in the 95th percentile for height and 25th percentile for weight.  So she is tall and skinny.  She is right on target for development and the doctor was impressed by how many body parts she could point to.  That would be all of them!!!!  Yeah for Natalie!

Got all her vaccines and was so proud of her . She barely cried and as soon as the nurse took her hand to take her to get a lollypop she stopped right away.  As a treat, daddy is taking her out to the State Fair tonight to have some fun.  She was so excited!  She will get to see the animal shows, and pet all the barn animals in the petting zoo and eat some fun food!  She is going with daddy to meet up with some of daddies friends.  I can't go cause I am on bed rest...the wonderful joys of bed rest.  NOT THE BUSINESS I tell you!!!!!!!  I hope I never have to do bed rest again!

But today I am officially 33 weeks.  Cervix is definitely shorter at just over a centimeter which is really short and dilated to a 1 cm, but still carrying these babies.  I am praying I can make is to next friday, September 14th.  That will make me 34 weeks and by then my doctor said that babies do really well and often don't even have to really be in the NICU, maybe only for a couple hours or a day.   That is music to my ears.  Even if they are born now, they will still be okay, but I am crossing my fingers for one more week.  If I can make it till then,  then what ever happens after that I am cool with.  I won't be so concerned with bed rest and won't be so nervous and stressed about the babies.  So here goes to hoping all goes well this last week!   No car to sell, no going out to restaurants and no unpacking new baby items.  All is done hopefully!   I would just like to say again that bed rest SUCKS!!!!!!!!!  IT SUCKS!!!!!!!  SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS!!!!!!!  Okay, I think I'm done.

A mixed goodbye to an old friend

So about 6 years ago while I was in university I got my first car.  I great girl she has been to me! A beautiful red toyota corolla.  That weekend my besties and me took her on a huge road trip to California, and dubbed her "Cali"  She was wonderful.  I have had so many wonderful memories with her.  Took her down to Utah with me when I moved, met my husband in her, trekked my daughter around in her.  And toady, I sadly sold her.  But I sold her to a wonderful 21 year old girl, going to university just as I was.  So the torch is passed on to a very deserving sister!   Cali deserves to be in the limelight with the single crowds, going to parties, spending her days in university parking lots, and going on first dates!  May you enjoy your new owner, friend and memory maker cali!  I will miss you, but you are in good hands!

I didn't think it would be so hard for me to let her go.  As she was driving off, I started to cry, thinking about how much I was going to miss her, but thinking about how great her new owner will be makes me feel better! I also can't believe how fast she sold! I put her up on KSL not even a week ago, and was getting close to 5-6 calls a day for her.  She apparently is in very high demand!

We bought a brand new 2013 Nissan Alitma earlier this week.  A beautiful chocolate mocha color and we have our lovely Toyota Highlander still in great shape.  But we are no longer a family of Toyota's.  We have added the Nissan to the mix.  A great car to welcome the two new little bundles of joy we are expecting later this month.
